Poetry Corner

We all have our own way of releasing stress and pent-up emotions — others do it by hurriedly smoking that Marlboro Light as if the tobacco-filled stick is a lifeline of some sort, some spend their time sweating out like a pig by playing a grueling sport (and no, golf is not considered a sport not to mention grueling), and a few calm themselves by doing every possible Yoga positions which are repeatedly misconstrued as subtle variations of the Kama Sutra.

For me, I write a poem when I am overwhelmed by something or when the feelings are too strong that I can no longer ignore them. I find writing inexplicably cathartic compared to voicing out what I have in mind. I thought I should share some of my poems here, and allow those who happen to stumble into my blog a chance to read them.

One last note: You are probably aware of Copyright Law and all those hooplas but just in case, I feel the need to mention that you may not copy, publish, reproduce, or distribute my poem and any of my post without notifying me or sending a link back to my blog. We all should get the recognition for our works and it is not fair for others to take the credit for something that does not rightfully belong to them. Having said that…..
